Validating xml against wsdl

Regards, Radu Dear Radu, Thank you for your quick response.I've tried the "WSDL SOAP Analyser" and it does indeed work for those kinds of errors, so we're happy with that.If you don't know through logs what the Soap document is that's being sent, I would use something like Axis's SOAPMonitor or TCPMon to intercept them, or if you're not using Axis, a network packet analysis tool like Ethereal, and examine the Soap going across the wire to see if it is valid for the service type (i.e., document/literal or whatever). Hi, I am looking for a generic way to validate all soap requests against the corresponding wsdl on the API Gateway.I have tried these tools: XML Spy Oxygen IBM's ETTKThanks for any pointers!Qingshan Luo Talaris Corporation1400 Fashion Island Blvd, Suite 150 San Mateo, CA 94404 qluo at talaris dot com Phone: 1-650-212-8473FAX: 1-650-212-8499 You may have hit a bug in the wsdl2java tool if you consistently get the errors against certain kinds of services. We're using the latest version of Oxygen (9.1) and clean install. When validating the same files in XMLSpy without configuring anything, the faults were found immediately.

So, my question: Can Oxygen offer the same kind of validation? Thanks in advance, Colin Dear Colin, Thank you for contacting us.For the moment we offer WSDL validation only against the WSDL XML Schema with SOAP extensions so no checking is done to see if the messages refer to existing elements or if those elements can be composed successfully.Anyone knows a way to validate a SOAP XML request against a WSDL defined web services?I am using Apache Axis's WSDL2Java tool to generate java code based on a given WSDL.
